GOOD MOURNING

a semi-devised production based on the true story of director Hannah Armstrong Written and reimagined by Sonia Dodd, Saskia Channing and Emily Waterson

We’ve all lost something before. Pair of undies? Marbles? Dad?

Good Mourning is an art installation which showcases individual processes with grief in all forms.  - “While our stories differ, our emotions are the same.”

The performance retells one of the stories on display; Hannah losing her father to cancer at the age of eight. It is light-hearted and joyful, sombre and frank, heartbreaking and heartwarming.

Through spectacle, memory and familial arguments we invite all of you to experience this gallery of grief - please note, Hannah’s father will not be attending.
